A warm, safe space...
My aim as a therapist is to provide a warm, safe and compassionate space. In which each person, through the bond of the therapeutic relationship, feels seen and heard for who they really are, with empathy and without judgement. Through this process of open observation and communication, creating awareness of those unconscious parts, helping my clients to be aware of their full potential, allowing them to become a more authentic version of themselves.

My Philosophy
Individuality
I respect and value the uniqueness of each person I work with and therefore adapt my therapy to support your individual experiences and needs.
Your Own Expert
You are your own expert and with my support we can identify patterns and behaviours that prevent you from becoming a person you can value and believe in.
Relationship
I appreciate that the relationship formed with each client is a fundamental part of the process of change. With this in mind I offer an initial 20 minute online session, should you require this, to evaluate our working together.
My Promise
Competence
I routinely engage in continued professional development, to remain current with changes and new insights in the mental health profession. I also undertake regular supervision, which ensures my competency within my client work.
Responsibility
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I work within the BACP code of ethics, using the BACP Ethical Framework to underpin all of my work. This is to ensure that you receive a good service and means that I am accountable to a higher national organisation and must work within their guidelines.
Transparency
I am transparent in my work and communicate openly and honestly with you about your progress, challenges and goals identified through regular reviews, to ensure that you continue to benefit from our sessions.
